Agency Glock - Glock pistols; Known, rich, accurate and reliable. Used by up to 60% of law enforcement, the Glock has become one of the most popular and established handguns to fill multiple roles at once. Everyday carry firearms for self-defense, police and military, competition pistols and long-range toys. It's hard to get around with a gun. Either in person or online, and without seeing a trace of a Glock. As already mentioned, Glocks can be modified . to suit the tastes, needs and styles of the user. And there is currently no list of companies working aftermarket on Glocks to make Glocks better in one way or another.
When Kelly McCann put the RDS on a pistol, it was only a matter of time before the rest of the shooting world took it seriously. And it wasn't long before the brave soul fired the first slide for the RDS to sit at eye level. Since then, the Glock was and still is. It's one of the most popular platforms for red-dot (reflex) sights on handguns. Its undeniably square shape is practical but utilitarian. It's a blank canvas paired with functional and beautiful slides. And you have an industry-first-hand need to customize America's favorite handgun.
Agency Glock
When I moved from H&K to a Glock for my everyday carry. Losing points is new to most shooters. And the slide modification is still conservative. (At least for firearm carry.) These days, I can scroll through my Instagram feed or look at the trending gun blogs and see all sorts of modified Glocks, with designs ranging from simple to extreme. Not all of these adaptations are good. And not all the companies that make these things work well. For me, many companies make cosmetic improvements to Glocks and very few companies make functional improvements. do both less A slide cut is a slide cut. And sometimes guns start to look the same. However, you can only do so much with square metal plates.

Late last year I was introduced to Agency Arms by the Booth of Armordillo Concealment. (not new to the industry but new as a company) that want to get firearms into the hands of instructors and shooters for evaluation. One look agency has improved a Glock and I knew I had to get one. I sent it in a Gen 3 17 and picked up their Field package.
The field package is a heavy use offering. There are no windows in the slides and aesthetics are kept to a minimum. The agency installs their proprietary trigger and cuts it to fit the sight of your choice. If you don't already have an optic or just want an iron. each pistol It comes with a stop plate that covers the optic cut off when the optic is not mounted. except for me My only request was for them to cut mine out to allow the rear sight to face the front of the optic. Not the back means I can't take the striker, I don't know what to expect from the agency before I turn 17 back to me. The gun looks impressive. But will it be effective?
As well as other mechanical devices It has the engineering and weight tolerance that was a factor in the original design. Removing too much weight or changing the texture too much. And you run the risk of creating an unreliable product. Re-engineering for tolerances may require a gun to be Used in a nearly sterile environment for reliable operation. Or you may need extra springs or low energy ammunition. This is the same concern I have with Agency pistols as I have with any aftermarket pistol. Will agency modifications make a better Glock or just make it look better?
The Agency Field Edition test is my standard test. i make it real I would recommend the gun in extreme environments. But nothing is beyond the range that a shooter can expect. I cleaned the Field Edition and set it to 2000 rounds. The ammo I used were 115-grain S&B, 115-grain Tula Steel Case, 124-grain Gold Dot and 124-grain Federal HST.

The first thing you notice about agency weapons is the trigger. Well thought out flat profile trigger. It has an unobtrusive trigger safety. Unlike a standard Glock trigger (or all aftermarket Glock triggers I've seen), the trigger safety is well concealed. It still exists and still works. But it doesn't interfere with the feel of your finger on the trigger.
The Agency trigger maintains good width and the pull is actually positive. very little before the trip clean break and little travel because it is a flat profile Therefore, minimal physical trigger movement is needed while maintaining proper weight. No dead area or spongy movement The 4-pound trigger on my test gun is ideal for accurate pressure. Consistent downforce for heavy hits or moving quickly for a quick shot. Even when the gun is dirty from shooting, wet, muddy or frozen. The trigger kept its performance and gave me no problems. I don't know how many hours How many weeks or months in the design and engineering of the trigger? But it took some time.
Field Edition slides work as good as they look. The rear serration is angled into the slide. This gives a very positive gripping surface without changing the overall style. The added front serration provides the same gripping force as before. for positive use The weight reduction is minimal with this model. But the difference is easily felt when stepping back. The trim for RMR is physical. Some aftermarket companies ask you to send them the optics you want to use. To get a good fit . Â Â The agency didn't ask for this and that made me pause. Although when the gun came on and I installed a Trijicon RM07 6.5 MOA RMR, it fit just right.
The framework isn't just standard points and undercut protectors. The main grip had the knuckle removed and a tall milling cutter placed on the back of the guard, while instead of another radial rib for the support hand, the Agency had reduced the total thickness and removed the front end of the triggerguard. However, this feature is known as the Accelerator pad. The chamfered edge just forward of the takedown lever is a positive indexing point for the support hand’s thumb and a leverage point to help flatten the muzzle on recoil. I’t Seen this on polymer guns before. And there is at least one company that produces a device that attaches to some rifle frames for the same purpose. But this is the first time such features have been included as part of a custom and When you use it is essential
Agency Arms Full Glock 19 Build
The agency does what I really like. They left the right ones alone and focused on improving functionality. There are only three parts: the aftermarket agency firearm, the trigger shoe, the trigger safety and the plunger spring safety. All other parts are OEM Glocks with fine tuning. Some of the firearms on the aftermarket include A specially coated match-grade barrel that adds to the price of the gun and doesn't offer much in the way of performance improvement. While accuracy depends largely on the skill of the shooter. This gun also plays a part. I had no problem hitting the 8 Steelâ€x8†at 100 meters with my review gun. And I know it will be consistent because it is an OEM caliber already known for its accuracy and reliability. Ease of accuracy is enhanced by the trigger. Not increased lubrication with barrel grade    when running fast. It's very manageable. Retains a respectable level among regular handguns.
Overall reliability persisted. Over the course of 2000 rounds the gun was not cleaned or lubricated; It was fired and left to cool. then repeatedly warmed up Without fail, water, mud and ice did not deal a single damage. And the work is from the first round to the last round. no matter how dirty it is I know without a doubt another 500 to 1000 rounds or so and I will start to see the damage. Although no one would expect a gun to be carried to that level without thorough cleaning or that. at the same time. At least some extra lubrication, namely if I had to pick up a Field Edition 17 and hold it now as it is. I would do it without hesitation. (But I'll clean it up ASAP)
Is it the Glock Arms Agency you were looking for? Of course that's what I have.
